What is Personal Information?

This may include information such as your address, phone number, email address, payment details (for example, your credit card information), shopping interests and preferences, transaction history and any other information you provide us (“Personal Information”).

Sosco Ltd. (collectively, “Sosco,” “we” or “us”) treats your personal information with respect and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. Here you will learn how we collect, use, store, and retain your Personal Information when you purchase and use our modular, light duty, truck bed accessory (the “Product”) as well as when you use and access our websites and social media pages (including, (collectively, the “Sites”).

By purchasing the Product, visiting our Sites or contacting us for customer support (i.e. by email, phone or otherwise), as outlined in our Terms and Conditions, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to the policies and practices described herein for the collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Information.

What Personal Information Do We Collect and Why Do We Collect It?

We collect and store any information that you provide us when you purchase the Product, visit our Sites or contact customer support.

When visiting our Sites, we will automatically collect certain kinds of your user information, such as IP address, browser and device types, and which pages or content you access. Certain parts of our Sites use “cookies” and “clear gifs”. "Cookies" are small files that we transfer to your computer's hard drive or your Web browser memory to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide convenience and other features to you, such as recognizing you as an existing customer or previous Sites’ visitor. "Clear gifs" are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and may be used to track the online movements of Web users or to let us know if you have opened an e-mail that we sent you.

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Sites, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. Sosco also uses third party services to process payments and the third parties will be responsible for securely managing your personal and financial data in accordance with payment card industry data security standards (also known as PCI DSS).

We use your Personal Information to: (a) fulfill any orders placed through the Sites; (b) communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; (d) improve and optimize our Sites (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Sites, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Sharing Information

By consenting to this Privacy Policy, your information will be accessed and used in the following ways:

  • By internal employees or independent contractors of Sosco in order to fulfill orders and inquiries related to the Product.
  • Confirming and tracking your orders, understanding our customer demographics and preferences, and communicating with you.
  • Companies that we share information with, including ad networks, may use the information we provide to them, often in combination with their existing information, to provide you with more relevant advertising, and to help us and third parties do the same.
  • By third party service providers to provide certain services, such as processing payment card information, web hosting, and email service providers.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We retain your information as long as required to provide our services (for example: process the order, deliver our Product), or as long as required for Sosco to fulfill our agreements, contracts, and legal obligations. When you purchase the Product on the Sites, we will maintain your order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

How Do We Get Your Consent?

Sosco does not collect, use or disclose your Personal Information without your consent except where required by law. Consent may be provided in writing or orally or may be implied through your conduct with us.

By providing your Personal Information to us, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of such personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and as otherwise permitted or required by law.

How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

Sosco uses industry standard practices and procedures to protect your Personal Information. Our security practices rely on you keeping your username and password secure and not sharing that information with anyone else. You are also responsible for keeping your devices secure, to prevent unauthorized use and access of any passwords and account information. Note that e-mail is not a 100% secure medium, and you should be aware of this when sending personal or confidential information to us.

What If We Change Our Privacy Policy?

We may change our Privacy Policy from time to time. It is your responsibility to review the Privacy Policy for any changes. You understand and agree that your continued use of the Sites constitutes your agreement to the revisions.
